Box build, Unit Assembly and Test
The extensive facilities available within ABI Electronics enable us to offer a complete service. This means that our PCB assembly services do not just stop at quick turnaround PCB assembly for low and medium builds. ABI has 40 years experience in full box build assembly including materials management of all components, electromechanical parts, plastics, casings and print & packaging material. We can offer the option to conformally coat any PCB assemblies - from fully hand built prototypes and small batches, through to medium volumes. Units can be tested to customer specifications using either bespoke functional test equipment or utilising ABI’s own test experience and facilities.
PCBA repairs and Rework
ABI has the facilities to do all aspects of PCB track & pad repair / component rework / replacement and repair of components on PCB’s if required. We have a wide range of equipment to allow us to perform a high standard of rework, for example Ersa rework stations, JBC Rework station along with Mantis vision systems for manual visual inspection. We have the option to inspect with Automated Optical Equipment (AOI) as well to identify faulty soldering, wrong components or wrong orientation, etc.
Our operators are all trained to IPC-A-610 standard to provide you with a high level of quality that a company like you require.
